To reach the goals of the WATERBORNE TRANSPORT AFRICA FORUM, it is necessary to engage all relevant stakeholders of the waterborne sector and of society at large. We wish to attract members from many segments of the African waterborne transport sector. We would like to encourage you to join us in promoting support for Africa’s development of waterborne transport, through strategic planning, sustainable funding and innovation. Let's together tackle the challenges of waterborne Transport in Africa!

Upon joining the Waterborne Transport Africa Forum, you will:

• Participate in all discussions in our working groups;

• Be a member of the Zero-Emisssion Waterborne Transport;

• Have a say in the medium- and long-term strategy of our sector;

• Receive all relevant documentation from the various institutions related to opportunities for investment in the African waterborne transport markets;

Membership of the Waterborne Transport Africa Forum is laid down in the Articles of Association. The English version is a certified translation of the Dutch, and legally valid Articles of Association. The functioning of the Association has been further detailed in By-laws, of which a summary is available as well. In addition, members of the Waterborne Transport Africa Forum adhere to the Code of Conduct of the Association.

For 2024, individual membership is free.

For representatives of administrations, there is the possibility to become an observer of the Waterborne Platform Africa Forum, of which the conditions are laid down in the Articles of Association.
